WISE: Your Community, Your Journey, Your Way

WISE: Your Community, Your Journey, Your Way

Miranda Penna

Hi! It’s Miranda Penna. I lead our Marketing & Communications committee, and we are the behind-the-scenes team responsible for creating and curating all-things WISE, from our newsletters, to our website, to in-person event collateral, to social media. It’s a whirlwind of creativity and collaboration, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing support and enthusiasm we have on our committee! Curious to know who’s on our team? Check us out below!

This marks my second year as Chair, and wow, what a ride it’s been! Reflecting on the past year, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t totally intimidated at first—big shoes to fill, huge goals for 2024, and a lot of late-night brainstorming sessions. But here we are, thriving and shaping WISE into something extraordinary as we gear up for an even brighter 2025.

When I joined WISE in 2018, I was a bundle of nerves and uncertainties, a young woman trying to find her place in the private label food manufacturing world. Little did I know, WISE would transform my career—and my confidence—in ways I never imagined.

The connections. The mentors. The guidance. The unwavering support. The WISE community isn’t just a network; it’s a powerhouse of inspiration that’s unmatched by anything I’ve ever experienced.

This message is for everyone. Whether you’re just starting out in your career or have years of experience under your belt. Whether you’re perfectly content where you are, or you’re itching for a new challenge. Whether you’re on the hunt for professional connections or simply looking for a friendly face—YOU. BELONG. HERE.

It doesn’t matter your age, gender, role, religion, or background. At WISE, none of that defines you. What matters is that you’ve found a place where open arms and an incredible community are ready to welcome you, support you, and cheer you on, no matter where you’re headed.

The beauty of WISE? You decide how much you want to dive in. Want to just subscribe to our monthly newsletter? Amazing! Thinking about catching a webinar or two? We love that for you! Ready to go all in by joining a partner program or even volunteering on a committee? Fabulous—your seat at the table is waiting.

And trust me, 2025 is going to be another amazing year. If you’re curious about how WISE can help you grow, thrive, and connect, now is the perfect time to start imagining how you’ll tap into all the resources we offer. Check out our partner programs below, because enrollment time is right around the corner.

Your next big opportunity? It starts right here with WISE.
